Round 5 of the Swiss Championship was held at the special track in Weinfelden. This track was similar to the Euros track in Traiskirchen, covered and with asphalt. Team XRAY driver Mario Rigert and Martin Strittmatter were driving in the Modified class, and Philipp Hagnauer was driving in the Open Stock class. The Swiss Team had support from Fabian Bucher and Marco Kaufmann from SMI Germany.

Practice and one qualification round were held on Saturday. Because of the special surface and the fact that was no sugar water on the track, the track had no grip for the entire Saturday. The team tried very hard to find a good set-up, and finally after some hours of drifting the set-up was found. So everybody was happy and all Modified drivers â“ expect Martin (he attended only Sunday) â“ had a Top 10 round in the first qualification. Philipp took the TQ spot in Open Stock.
Sunday morning arrived and the track was a bit wet because of the humidity. In the first rounds in the morning Marco Kaufmann made a one-man show. He became TQ and was nearly one lap faster than the rest. Philipp did the same in Open Stock, being about 10sec faster than the rest.

During the finals it was an easy drive for both drivers. Marco and Philipp won A1 and A2 with a huge gap ahead of 2nd place. Because of the victory, Philipp became the Open Stock Swiss Champion 2011.
Because Martin Strittmatter was Swiss Champion in Modified, XRAY and the T3â™11 is double Swiss Champion 2011!
